Media firebrand Megyn Kelly didn’t hold back when critiquing Jeff Bezos’ appearance at his ultra-luxurious wedding to Lauren Sánchez in Venice, Italy. On a recent episode of The Megyn Kelly Show on SiriusXM, the host echoed Daily Mail columnist Maureen Callahan, saying Bezos “looked like a walking penis” at his high-profile nuptials.
“He does look like a walking penis,” Kelly said, after comparing photos of Bezos during his early Amazon days to his now more sculpted, taut look. “It does give penis vibes,” she added, labeling his wedding appearance “not a good look.”
Kelly also blasted the star-studded guest list, which included Oprah Winfrey, Kim Kardashian, Leonardo DiCaprio, Mick Jagger, and Orlando Bloom. The ceremony, held over three days in Venice and reportedly costing more than $50 million, was called out by Kelly for being more about celebrity than sincere connections.
“You’re literally one of the richest men in the world,” Kelly said sarcastically. “So you make sure to invite only the people who love you for you — the ones who were there before you built Amazon.”
The backlash isn’t limited to Kelly. Venice locals protested Bezos’ wedding with banners reading “No Space for Bezos” and “If you can rent Venice for your wedding, you can pay more tax,” citing concerns over corporate greed and overtourism.
